Red Cross Continues to Help Apartment Building Fire Victims
Springfield, MO – Volunteers from the Greater Ozarks Chapter of the American Red Cross are continuing to monitor the situation with the residents of the apartment building fire that occurred on Wednesday, Feb. 24, 2010. At this time 8 families from the building at 424 W. Mt. Vernon have been helped with temporary shelter, food and clothing. We will continue to help the residents till the utilities are turned back on and they are able to return to a safe environment.
