Red Cross Receives Grant from Jarden Consumer Solutions
The Greater Ozarks Chapter of the American Red Cross is pleased to announce they will be the recipient of a $5000 grant from Jarden Consumer Solutions (JCS). The check will be presented to the chapter on Wednesday, January 13, 2010 at the Jarden facility in Neosho. Greg James, Director of Financial Development for the chapter, said, “This wonderful contribution will help many local families begin their recovery process after experiencing a devastating loss.” Proceeds will benefit disaster relief in the Barton, Jasper and Newton counties.
The Jarden Consumer Soluntions Community Fund is the Company’s employee-funded charitable organization. It provides monetary grants to qualified charitable organizations in the communities where JCS employees live, work and care for their families. These organizations engage in community development programs, which focus efforts on at-risk women, families and youth, low-income families and food programs.
