                                    Red Cross Will Conduct Blood Drive at Salvation Army

 

Springfield, MO.  The Greater Ozarks Chapter of the American Red Cross is partnering with the Salvation Army and Red Cross Blood Services to conduct a blood drive and educate seniors on the importance of preparedness on Tuesday, Sept. 22, 2009.

 

                        Location:                  The Salvation Army, in the gymnasium

                                                            1707 W. Chestnut Expressway

                                                            Springfield, MO

                        Time:                         10:00 A. M. till 2:00 P.M.

 

Chris Harmon, Director of Emergency Services, will be on hand at 10:00 A.M. to give a presentation to seniors about preparedness.  Residents of the community are invited to attend this free and informative presentation.

 Weather radios will also be available for purchase.  The cost is $30.

 

 

All American Red Cross disaster assistance is free, made possible by voluntary donations of time and money from people. To help the victims of local disasters, financial contributions can be mailed to: American Red Cross, 1545 N. West Bypass, Springfield, MO.  65803.
